We believe businesses succeed when their people do, which is why our offerings (and our employee policies!) are people-focused. We don’t just recommend these business approaches to organisations. We live them every day, and they’ve transformed the way we work, collaborate, and approach challenges.

Fun fact: Our CEO, Sudeshna, was once the victim of theft, right here at the MARG office. The thief, who shall remain nameless for her own protection, was caught red-handed—wrist-deep in Sudeshna’s ice-cream that she’d stolen from the office fridge! We’ve learned to be wary when there are goodies around 🙂

Flora’s Story
Eight years ago, MARG became a significant part of my life, and I’m grateful that the adventure continues to engage and bring out the best in me.
When I joined MARG, I was young, new to the city, and unfamiliar with the ways of the working world. There was so much to learn and understand, and I was unsure if I’d fit in. But MARG saw potential in me and gave me opportunities to hone my strengths and learn from my mistakes.
I’ve seen MARG grow and transform over the years. I’ve watched the team triple in size and our offices expand to accommodate our growing business. I’ve worked in different roles (both official and unofficial!), starting off in business development and working my way up to Head of Operations.
As MARG grew, I did too. With support, constructive feedback, and abundance of opportunities, I blossomed both professionally and personally. In fact, it was Sudeshna, our CEO, who suggested that my strong planning and organisation skills might help me excel at Operations. And she was right!
What I love about MARG is the wholesome, warm, and supportive culture it offers. Everyone is free to be their authentic self and encouraged to speak up about challenges or propose ideas. No one is too senior or junior to be heard or to listen to others’ perspectives. Every victory you achieve or challenge you overcome is celebrated. For me, this makes working at MARG a joy. Even when I’m going through a tough time, I walk into the MARG office and feel energized and excited to dive into a new day.
As a team, we share a love for food. Team lunches are an everyday thing—you might even say they’re a tradition! Lunchtime is when we bond, share stories, relax, and let our hair down.
If you were to sneak a peek at us when we’re working, you’d undoubtedly see a lot of banter and laughter. To an outsider it might seem like we’re extremely easygoing, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. We believe in working hard and achieving our goals every day. We just like having fun while we do it.
My message to anyone aspiring to work at MARG is this: although we’re an 18-year-old company, we still function almost like a startup. Each of us has a strong sense of ownership, and we all pitch in and do what the situation demands to ensure we meet MARG’s goals. “That’s not my job” isn’t something you’ll hear any of us say. This doesn’t mean we’re faced with unreasonable expectations, but rather that we embrace a culture of ownership, collaboration, and stepping up to support one another when needed. We strongly believe in work-life balance—you’ll find our office deserted after 5 pm!
In my 8 years at MARG, I’ve had ups and downs, learnings and victories. And I’m thankful for them all.
